Want to add features to iPodder? Short of imagination? Try these:

* Ease of use, which is a lot harder than it looks to get really right.

* Support for additional media players.

* Feed-specific conversion of content to preferred encoding formats to
  save space, particularly for those with smaller media players.

* Conversion to Apple's format and changing the extension from w4a to
  w4b so iPods will think a long broadcast is an audio book and keep a
  bookmark.

* Limiting the amount of bandwidth consumed, perhaps integrating with
  ISP quota reports.

* Limiting the total amount of disk space consumed, both on the media
  player and on disk (which has to cope with the existing and incoming
  content at the same time).

* Prioritising feeds, so limits on bandwidth and disk space cause
  boring feeds the user subscribed to as filler to be tossed out first.

* Sensitivity to their media player's tracking of what has been
  listened to (not available to WinPod owners, unfortunately).

* Archiving features for people who want to keep everything Adam ever
  said but don't want it all kept on their iPod at once.

* Over-riding a show's crummy ID3 tags with tags that make sense.

* One-shot subscription (disable after downloading; if the user likes it,
  they'll re-enable it; if not, they'll delete it).

* Picking how many items/MB/minutes to download.

* Options for merging multiple podcasts into one playlist.

* Automatically start playing the default cast once downloaded.

* Chronological sorting of feed items.

* Detect old, stupid locations and either use them or offer to move stuff,
  now that we use new, appropriate locations.

* Automatically use Bart's automatic torrent mirror if possible.

* Resume broken downloads.

* Preview mode.
