Fetching External Backup IDs 

Use

You display the external backup IDs of backups for a database instance that are currently registered in the backup tool specified by <medium>.

Prerequisites

You have the DBM operator authorization Backup or DBInfoRead.

Syntax

backup_ext_ids_get <medium> [<database_name>] [<server_node>]

<medium>	Name of the backup medium; this must be defined beforehand (Defining or Changing a Backup Medium)
<database_name>	Name of the database instance from which the backups were created
<server_node>	Name of the server on which the backup was created

Reply

The system displays an OK message.

Use the command backup_ext_ids_list (see Reading External Backup IDs) to display the external backup IDs.
